My Journey as a Maker

I have always been drawn to computers and creating things. When I was a kid, my dad got my brothers and me an Xbox for Christmas, and one of the games we played was TimeSplitters 2. While the game itself was fun, what truly fascinated me was the built-in map maker. I spent hours designing custom levels for my brothers—guiding them through dark hallways, setting up monster encounters, and crafting little adventures.

That experience sparked something in me. I loved making thingsanything, really. Over the years, I have built game levels, crafted leather accessories, and even assembled my own watches.

This passion led me into manufacturing, where I became a machine setter making precision plumbing parts sold around the world. It was hands-on, creative work that taught me the value of building with purpose.

After being made redundant I want to return to my passion, this time through code: using Java, Python, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to build experiences and turn imagination into reality.
